The Green Flag

The Green Flag flying above our school is a symbol of the efforts our school community is making to create a sustainable future for all.

It is a long term, whole school, student let education programme empowering children with the knowledge to make the right choices for our environment.

There are 8 themes and flags to achieve.

These are; Litter & Waste, Energy, Water, Travel, Biodiversity, Global Citizenship – Litter & Waste, Global Citizenship – Energy and Global Citizenship – Marine Environment.

We achieved the first flag on our first attempt in 2016 and the second award in 2017.

Works continue throughout our school community to achieve our next flag.
